Teraloop Top 30 Most Promising Energy Startups

Teraloop was nominated on March 23rd 2017 amongst the EnergySpin Top 30 Most Promising Energy Startups by Vaasa Entrepreneurship Society VES at the 2017 edition of Vaasa Energy Week.

In the past, Teraloop was nominated among the Top 30 Most Promising Energy Startups at the 2015 Vaasa Energy Week. Teraloop’s CEO Edward Ridgway Watt also gave the keynote address at the 2016 edition of EnergySpin of Vaasa Energy Week.
Teraloop further released the news at the Vaasa Energy Week on the entry of the Japananese giant of mechatronics Yaskawa Electric Corporation as partner and investor.

“We are now building a part-scale industrial prototype, with low speed tests and evaluation commencing as early as July 2017 within the Aalto Campus. This prototype will be rated at 10kW and with a capacity evolving up to 25 kWh, which will allow us to participate in the FCR-n market or micro-grid applications from the latter part of 2Q2018.” COO Philippe Pépin
